BITE of Art Podcast – Episode 1: The art of activism, Mia David

Welcome to the first episode of the BITE of Art Podcast. This podcast is launched to be your guide through the latest trends, discussions, and developments in contemporary art across Europe.

At the opening, we are talking with Mia David, an artist, curator, and architect whose light motive has always been the change of the society into the world she believes in. We talked with Mia about the role and importance of contemporary art in addressing social and political challenges. Question of possibilities of contemporary art in filling the void in shaping the public discourse caused with the growing mistrust of citizens in traditional democratic and political structures and institutions, arose. What is your opinion here? Share with us in the comments.

The podcast is a part of the BITE of Art project, that is supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. Our goal is to bring innovation in the creation, dissemination, and consumption of contemporary art, making it more accessible and mainstream throughout Europe.
