The Heritage House is a prestigious cultural institution in Belgrade, which is dedicated to the preservation of personal items and works of some of the most important artists of Serbia and former Yugoslavia. BITE had the honor to take part in the digitalization of the heritage house of famous painter Petar Lubarda, thus making it accessible to a larger audience.

Petar Lubarda is one of the most important artists of Yugoslavia and his works announced a break from the social realism movement and the introduction of the art of abstraction. Everything that is on display in his heritage house represents a gift from the artist and his wife to the city of Belgrade.

We are inviting you to visit permanent exhibition at Lubarda’s villa in Dedinje, Belgrade, and use BITE App to find out stories behind paintings, sketches, sculptures, photographs and personal items which are on display.
