Three National Coordination Committee (NCC) meetings were implemented last week in Serbia, Slovenia and Spain, signifying the completion of an important step in the implementation of the BITE of Art project. The meeting in Belgrade was held on June 24, in Ljubljana it happened on June 26 and in Valencia on June 30. Within these meetings NCC members have analyzed upcoming contemporary art events in order to selected the cultural operators which will enable piloting of the BITE Contemporary Art Business Model (CABM) in the three aforementioned countries. In total 8 cultural operators were selected to carry out the piloting programme. Reserve list of operators was drafted in case of unforeseen circumstances in order to ensure that the BITE CABM piloting is conducted without interruptions. The NCC members have also agreed on the further steps for signing cooperation agreements with cultural operators and created instructions regarding the content of those agreements.
Follow our work in coming months to find out which cultural operators and contemporary art events have been selected for BITE piloting!
The project “BITE of Art” is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
